🇵🇰 Happy Independence Day, Pakistan! Celebrating 14th August with pride — یوم آزادی مبارک — 14 اگست

Privacy Policy

In short: we collect only what we need to connect you with a licensed advocate, run our free tools, and keep the platform secure — we never sell your data, and sensitive documents you upload (CNIC, Bar certificates, case papers) are visible only to you, the relevant advocate, and platform admins.

1. Introduction

Justify.pk (also operating as apnawakeel.com) (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a bilingual (English/Urdu) legal services platform founded by Zeeshan Haider Advocate and based in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. We connect clients with independent, licensed advocates — including Muhammad Nadeem Ashraf Advocate High Court, Mirza Abdur Rehman Advocate High Court, and Hiba Batool (Female Legal Advisor) — and provide free self-help tools such as an AI legal draft generator, a searchable law library, a legal dictionary, and an NTN/tax calculator. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Registration: Name, email address, phone number, city, and password for client and advocate accounts. Advocate registration additionally collects professional credentials — Bar Council license number, Bar Council chapter, a scanned Bar certificate, CNIC copy, CV, and profile photo.
  • Free Consultation Requests: Details of your legal matter, preferred language (English/Urdu), and contact information, so an advocate can respond.
  • Client Document Submissions: Supporting documents you choose to upload with a consultation or case submission (contracts, notices, court papers, etc.).
  • Clerk / Job Applications: If you apply for a clerk or staff position through our hiring form, we collect your contact details and application information for recruitment purposes only — this never creates a website login account.
  • AI Legal Draft Generator: The details you enter (names, dates, addresses, facts of the matter) are used solely to populate the document template you request.
  • AI Chatbot (“Wakeel Bot”): Messages you send to our chatbot are processed to generate a reply. The chatbot is bilingual and rate-limited, and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed advocate (see our Legal Disclaimer).
  • My Articles (Blog Contributions): If you write an article as a verified advocate or registered client, we collect the article content and, if published, display your name and role (Advocate Insight or Community Voice) as the byline. All submissions are reviewed by an admin before appearing publicly.
  • Communications: Messages you send via email, WhatsApp, or our contact form, and our replies.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: Small files used to keep you logged in, remember your language and preferences, and measure site usage. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand which pages, tools, and articles are used most, so we can improve them.
  • Server Log Data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically by our hosting server for security and diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and secure your account, and verify your email address before allowing login
  • To connect you with a licensed advocate for a free or paid consultation
  • To review advocate applications (Bar Council credentials) before publishing a public advocate profile
  • To generate AI-assisted legal drafts and chatbot replies based on the details you provide
  • To let verified advocates and registered clients submit articles for admin review and publication
  • To operate our free tools (Law Library, Legal Dictionary, NTN & Tax Calculator) and improve their accuracy over time
  • To send service-related emails: verification links, password resets, consultation confirmations
  • To respond to inquiries and provide support
  • To detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access, and enforce our Terms of Service
  • To measure site performance via analytics, and — where you have not opted out — to show relevant ads through Google AdSense

4. AI Tools & Third-Party Processing

Our AI chatbot (“Wakeel Bot”) and legal draft assistant use a third-party large-language-model API (Groq, running Meta’s LLaMA 3.3 model) to generate responses. When you use these tools:

  • The text you type is sent to Groq’s servers for processing and is not used by us to identify you unless you have voluntarily included personal details in your message
  • AI-generated output (chatbot replies and draft documents) is informational only, may contain errors, and is never a substitute for review by a qualified advocate — see our Legal Disclaimer
  • We do not knowingly send CNIC numbers, passwords, or payment details through the chatbot, and we recommend you avoid entering such details there

5. Data Security & Protection

We implement the following safeguards:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and our servers
  • Secure, one-way password hashing — we never store or can view your plain-text password
  • Email-based account verification before any login is permitted, and a token-based password-reset flow that never routes through the WordPress admin recovery screen
  • Uploaded documents (CNIC, Bar certificates, case papers) are stored in a restricted media library, linked only to your application, and visible only to admins and the relevant advocate
  • Access controls limiting staff access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular software and security updates

Note: no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is 100% secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Sharing Your Information

6.1 Who We Share With

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Advocates: The advocate(s) you request a consultation with, or who is assigned to your matter, receives the details and documents relevant to that matter
  • Service Providers: Our web hosting provider, transactional email service, and the Groq API (for AI features) — each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us
  • Legal Requirements: When required by Pakistani law, a valid court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Justify.pk, our users, or the public
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users where required by law

6.2 Advertising Partners

We use Google AdSense (placed via Google Site Kit) to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use essential, functional, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising cookies. Full details, including a list of specific cookies and how to control them, are in our Cookie Policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations:

  • Account data is retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period after closure for record-keeping
  • Consultation requests, submitted documents, and messages are retained for as long as needed to support your matter and our internal records
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Section 10)

9. Your Rights & Choices

Regardless of where you are located, you may:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Control cookies through your browser settings

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@justify.pk. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.

10. How to Request Data Deletion or Access

Email admin@justify.pk or WhatsApp us at 0300-0779014 with your registered email address and the nature of your request. We may ask you to verify your identity before actioning the request, to protect your account from unauthorized access.

Our website, articles, and law library may link to third-party sites (including government sites such as the Pakistan Bar Council or pakistancode.gov.pk). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites and encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it and, where applicable, terminate the associated account.
